Position Overview

We are seeking a Home Staging Design Assistant who is creative, highly organized, hands-on, and eager to work in a fast-paced luxury design environment. This role is ideal for someone who loves interior design but also enjoys the operational side of staging — from styling and installations to warehouse organization and inventory management.

This is an hourly position with compensation based on experience. Standard operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, though flexibility is essential in this role. Occasional Saturday work and extended hours may be required depending on installation schedules and project demands. Candidates must be willing to stay until the job is completed when needed. Overtime compensation is provided in accordance with applicable labor laws.

The ideal candidate is a strong team player who can take direction and feedback gracefully, work independently when needed, and represent our brand with professionalism and polish.

Responsibilities

• Attend detailed property walk-throughs with the Principal Designer
• Assist in developing staging concepts tailored to each home’s architecture, layout, and target buyer
• Effectively lead and direct crew members during installations to ensure the lead designer’s vision is properly executed
• Style rooms with attention to scale, layering, balance, and detail
• Help receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and inventory
• Maintain overall warehouse organization and presentation
• Assist with inventory management and staging preparation
• Interact professionally with clients, agents, vendors, and team members
• Take initiative, problem solve, and work efficiently with limited supervision

Qualifications

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong interest in interior design, home staging, or visual merchandising
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills
• Professional demeanor with polished communication skills
• Ability to accept direction and constructive feedback professionally
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Previous experience in staging, design, merchandising, or related creative industries preferred but not required, we are willing to train the right person
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required
