Home Staging Lead Designer

Studio Walsh Interiors is a staging and interior design company seeking an experienced Lead Home Staging Designer. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a refined design eye, strong leadership presence, and the ability to execute elevated staging installations with precision and efficiency.

The Lead Designer sets the creative direction for each project and ensures a cohesive, market-ready presentation aligned with Studio Walsh Interiors’ design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and execute the overall design vision for each staging project
• Lead, direct, and mentor junior designers and design assistants
• Oversee furniture, art, accessories, bedding, and styling selections with final design approval
• Utilize the Stageforce app to select furniture and manage staging details
• Direct and manage design crews in both the warehouse and on-site environments
• Maintain efficient workflow and clear communication throughout daily installations
• Conduct pre-stage walkthroughs and design consultations, including photography and detailed notes
• Travel to staging locations throughout the Seattle area while working out of the Lynnwood warehouse
• Source and shop for high-quality design furniture and accessories as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional home staging experience (required)
• Proven ability to lead and manage a design team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong design sensibility with excellent spatial planning and attention to detail
• Confident decision-maker with polished communication skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt seamlessly to schedule changes
• Professional, reliable, and highly organized
• Reliable vehicle required (mileage reimbursed)

Work Environment

• Hands-on role requiring movement between warehouse and properties
• Comfortable yet professional attire and footwear recommended
