About Us
Simply Practical is a growing Interior Design, Home Staging, and Vacation Rental Design company based in Largo, FL. We specialize in creating beautifully designed, functional spaces for homeowners, investors, and Realtors.

We are currently looking for a dependable, hardworking, and flexible team member to assist with home staging projects and short-term rental (STR) property setups. This is a hands-on role with a variety of responsibilities, and no two days are the same.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, creative projects, design installs, and being part of a growing company.

What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities may include:

• Furniture loading and unloading
• Furniture assembly
• Home staging setup and breakdown
• Vacation rental (STR) setup assistance
• Inventory organization and warehouse assistance
• Delivery and pickup support
• Property preparation tasks
• Hanging artwork, mirrors, TVs, neon signs, décor, shelving, and projectors
• Assisting with painting, wallpaper installation, and accent wall creation
• Organizing and styling spaces
• Assisting with installation days and project coordination

• Warehouses without AC

• Occupied & vacant homes and vacation rentals
• Flexible schedule and availability
• Able to lift and move furniture safely
• Comfortable driving large vehicles, including up to a 26 ft U-Haul truck
• Reliable transportation required
• Must be based in or near Pinellas County preferred

Schedule & Hours
This is a part-time, as-needed position with flexible scheduling.

Some weeks may include full-time hours depending on project workload, while other weeks may have limited or no hours scheduled. As the company continues to grow, this role has the opportunity to expand into a more consistent or full-time position.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license & auto insurance required
• Must pass background & drug screening
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to safely lift and move furniture and décor items
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to work in hot warehouse environments and active job sites
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable using basic tools and handling installation tasks
• Ability to follow directions while also working independently
• Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude when working in client homes and properties

• This position requires flexible scheduling, including some early mornings, long install days, and weekends. Are you comfortable with a flexible/as-needed schedule?
• Please describe any experience you have with furniture assembly, moving/staging furniture, painting, installations, or hands-on project work.
• This role may require driving large vehicles, including up to a 26 ft U-Haul truck, as well as traveling throughout Pinellas and Hillsborough County. Are you comfortable with this and do you have reliable transportation?

Work Location: In person
