Position Overview:
P.A.R.E.N.T.S., Inc. is seeking a dedicated **Home Visitor** to support our mission of strengthening families by providing resources, skills, support, and advocacy that promote cycles of positive parenting.
The Home Visitor serves as a liaison between children, parents, resource caregivers, and Child Welfare Services (CWS) to promote safe, stable families and mitigate the risk of child abuse and neglect. Families are referred to the program through CWS.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct a minimum of one (1) monthly in-home, face-to-face visit with children, parents, and/or resource caregivers
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children during visits
* Assess family strengths and needs; provide ongoing evaluation and supportive services
* Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with contractual requirements
* Submit required reports to assigned CWS social workers
* Collaborate effectively with management, co-workers, program participants, and community partners
* Adhere to all agency policies and contractual obligations
* Travel frequently throughout East Hawaiʻi
* Maintain required levels of motor vehicle insurance

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with:
* Parents/caretakers who have harmed or threatened harm to their children
* Children who have experienced harm, trauma, or loss
* Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals, families, and systems of care
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Strong organizational and documentation skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
* Demonstrated ethical behavior and professional conduct
* Willingness to travel throughout East Hawaiʻi
