TITLE: Homebound Tutor (7th Grade Student)
Rate: $27/hr. - 5 hours/week

- Valid and appropriate Illinois licensure - Professional Educator License.

Successful completion of fingerprint based criminal background check (IL State Police and FBI), sex offender and violent youth offender screening, and employment physical.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Addresses specific educational needs of an individual student by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
- In collaboration with the student's teacher(s), selects appropriate instructional materials and media to achieve the goals and objectives specified for the student.
- In collaboration with the student's teacher(s), strives to maximize the educational achievement of the student.
- Employs a variety of instructional techniques and media which are appropriate to the achievement the student.
- In collaboration with the student's teacher(s), assesses on an ongoing basis student progress toward the acquisition of goals and objectives.
- Maintains accurate and complete records as required by district policy and administrative regulations.
- Utilizes current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiates instruction based upon student learning styles.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by the principal/assistant principal and district office administrators as designated by the superintendent.

Adheres to a professional code of ethics which includes confidentiality of school related matters and loyalty to the school district.
