Duties:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
• Monitor and document client progress and any changes in behavior or health status.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Uphold resident rights by advocating for the needs and preferences of clients.

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary needs.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to patient care and support.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Prior experience in assisted living or direct support roles is advantageous.
