About the Role
The Homeowner Insurance Claim Education and Inspection Coordinator position focuses on helping educate Residential Property Owners about potential property damage and coordinating residential property inspections throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
This role may be particularly well suited for candidates who have experience in fields such as Real Estate, Property Inspection, Construction, Insurance Claims, Field Inspection, or other client education roles where explaining technical information to homeowners is important.
The position focuses on helping coordinate property inspections that allow our company to evaluate whether damage may exist that should be documented and reviewed through the insurance claim process.
This is not a sales position.
The role focuses on education, communication, and relationship based introductions.
Role Summary
Candidates should be comfortable building relationships and communicating with homeowners and professionals within their Sphere of Influence.
Examples of Sphere of Influence connections include:
1. Family Members
2. Friends
3. Neighbors
4. Co Workers
5. Contractors
6. Electricians
7. Plumbers
8. Roofers
9. Painters
10. Real Estate Professionals
11. Property Managers

These introductions may lead to scheduling a property inspection where our team evaluates potential damage.
Candidates should not expect to begin this role by sitting at a desk trying to determine who they might contact.
The ideal candidate already understands their Sphere of Influence and can identify individuals within their network who may be open to learning about the opportunity for a property inspection.
Prior to interviewing candidates should be able to estimate how many homeowners within their network they could realistically speak with about this role.
Specific names are not required however candidates should have a clear understanding of the size and strength of their network.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Educational Outreach
Introduce homeowners within your network to the opportunity for a complimentary property inspection.
Explain at a high level how residential property damage claims are documented and evaluated.
Coordinate introductions between homeowners and our company.
Attend networking events and community functions when appropriate.
2. Property Visit Coordination
Assist with scheduling property inspections.
Attend inspections when appropriate.
Assist with documentation including photos and notes.
Help maintain organized documentation of property conditions.
3. Relationship Development
Develop relationships with referral partners including Contractors and Property Professionals.
Maintain professional communication with homeowners and referral contacts.
Serve as a liaison between homeowners and our internal team when appropriate.
4. Knowledge Development
Develop familiarity with residential construction systems including roofing and siding.
Learn how insurance claim documentation works.
Understand how Assignment of Claim agreements function.
Educational resources and training materials are provided by the company.
Examples of Property Conditions That May Be Inspected
Many homeowners are unaware that certain conditions may qualify for insurance claim review.
Examples include:
1. Vinyl siding that melted because a grill was placed too close to the home
2. Roof shingles damaged by wind or tree branches where replacement shingles are no longer manufactured
3. Roofing systems where building code requirements may require full replacement once repairs begin
4. Ceiling stains caused by ice dam related water intrusion
5. Localized wind damage that may not be visible from ground level
About New England Property Services Group
New England Property Services Group assists Residential Property Owners with identifying property damage and navigating insurance claims when damage is present.
Our company performs work exclusively through insurance claims that are assigned to our company by the Property Owner through an Assignment of Claim agreement.
Under this structure the Property Owner assigns the insurance claim to our company so we can handle documentation, claim coordination, scope evaluation, and project management associated with the claim.
We do not perform retail construction work outside of the insurance claim process.
Common claim types we work on include:
1. Roofing System Damage
2. Wind Damage
3. Siding Damage
4. Ice Dam Related Water Intrusion
5. Storm Related Property Damage
6. Construction Code Compliance Issues
Travel and Work Location Requirements
This is an in person and field based role.
This position is not remote and remote work will not be permitted.
Candidates must be willing to travel to residential properties throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island and must also be able to commute to our office in Fall River Massachusetts when required.
Candidates must have:
1. Reliable Personal Vehicle
2. Valid Driver’s License
3. Willingness to travel to Residential Properties throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island
4. Ability to attend networking events during evenings or weekends when appropriate
Preferred Candidate Background and Licensing
Candidates who have experience educating clients are strongly preferred.
Examples include:
1. Real Estate Professionals
2. Mortgage Professionals
3. Construction Supervisors
4. Insurance Professionals
5. Property Managers
6. Client Education Professionals
Candidates who currently hold a Public Adjuster License are strongly preferred.

Compensation
Hourly Pay Range
$15.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Candidate Preparation Expectations
Because this role relies on personal relationships and professional networks candidates are encouraged to prepare prior to interviewing.
Candidates should expect to provide a written example of a homeowner insurance claim as part of the application process.
Examples of preparation may include:
1. Speaking with family members or friends who own homes and asking whether they would be open to learning about a property inspection process.
2. Thinking about professionals within your network such as Real Estate Professionals, Property Managers, Contractors, or other Property Owners who may be open to learning about our services.
3. Considering whether you or someone you know has experienced a homeowner insurance claim and what that experience involved.
4. Being prepared to discuss real world examples of property damage or insurance claim situations that you have personally experienced or learned about through others.
Candidates who take the initiative to have preliminary conversations within their network prior to interviewing often have a clearer understanding of how they would succeed in this role.

12. Whether the homeowner felt the claim was handled properly or whether improvements could have been made
