Review insurance documentation and closing packages to determine whether payment is required, based on vendor-generated tasks and loan file requirements.

Analyze and validate insurance policies, including binders, declarations pages, quotes, renewals, endorsements, and force-placed insurance documents.

Verify flood certifications and ensure compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines.

Identify and resolve discrepancies related to borrower names, property addresses, coverage amounts, and policy terms.

Communicate professionally and effectively with borrowers and third-party insurance vendors to request documentation, clarify coverage details, and resolve outstanding issues.

Draft clear, articulate, and compliant email correspondence tailored to borrowers and external partners.

Manage a high-volume pipeline while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and strong attention to detail.

Ensure proper documentation of all actions taken within internal systems to maintain audit readiness and compliance standards.

Collaborate cross-functionally with closing, escrow, and servicing teams to support seamless loan processing and funding.

Proactively identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance workflow accuracy and turnaround times.

De-escalate sensitive situations by actively listening, demonstrating empathy, and providing clear, solution-focused communication.

Experience reviewing and analyzing insurance documentation for accuracy, compliance, and coverage sufficiency.

Working knowledge of property insurance policies, including binders, declarations pages, renewals, endorsements, and force-placed insurance.

Ability to identify coverage gaps, discrepancies in borrower/property information, and policy deficiencies.

Strong understanding of escrow, hazard insurance, and flood insurance verification processes.

Proficiency navigating loan servicing systems (Encompass and ICE preferred) and Windows based environments.

Ability to manage high-volume insurance review pipelines while maintaining accuracy and turnaround standards.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence to borrowers, insurance agents, and third-party vendors.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with servicing, escrow, and closing teams.

Demonstrated ability to de-escalate emotionally charged conversations with patience, professionalism, and confidence.

Demonstrated ability to interpret insurance policy language and apply internal guidelines to determine payment eligibility.

Experience verifying flood certifications and ensuring compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve policy discrepancies related to coverage limits, property type, named insureds, and property addresses.

Experience communicating professionally with mortgage servicers, insurance carriers, agents, title companies, and customers to resolve insurance-related matters.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy when reviewing financial transactions related to insurance premiums and escrow disbursements.

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven, compliance-focused environment.

Background in mortgage servicing, insurance operations, escrow, or financial services strongly preferred.

Experience responding to formal complaints, regulatory inquiries, or executive escalations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with insurance providers and vendors.

Knowledge of mortgage servicing software and escrow analysis tools.

1+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, escrow, or related field preferred.

Strong understanding of escrow processes, homeowners insurance, and insurance disbursements.

Familiarity with RESPA, CFPB regulations, and industry guidelines.

Proficiency in mortgage servicing platforms (e.g., MSP, Black Knight, FIS, or similar).
