Homeroom Teacher (IB Programme)

Ruya Schools, an International Baccalaureate (IB) school in Al Khobar, is seeking a qualified and experienced Homeroom Teacher to join its academic team.

The Homeroom Teacher will play a key role in delivering high-quality, inquiry-based instruction aligned with the IB framework, supporting students' academic and personal development, and contributing to a collaborative and reflective school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB programme
• Teach core subjects and support students' holistic development
• Design and implement assessments in line with IB standards
• Monitor and analyse student progress to inform instruction
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and learning
• Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Teaching qualification required)
• Previous IB teaching experience (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of inquiry-based and concept-driven learning
• Proven classroom management and lesson planning skills
• Ability to design and implement effective assessments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
