Homeschool Instructor for 4 Elementary Students in Henniker, NH - Catholic

**Christian / Catholic Homeschool Instructor**

We are interviewing to hire a female, Christian / Catholic conservative homeschool instructor to work with a homeschooling family in Henniker, NH twice a week. We provide support for homeschool instruction for 4 students who are in Kindergarten, 3rd Grade, and 6th grade twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). We are seeking a highly qualified instructor to do the following:

1) Homeschool 2 students in elementary school and 2 students in 6th grade on Tuesdays and
Thursdays. Must have background in teaching, homeschooling, tutoring or something similar. Individuals with strengths in teaching math, writing and science are preferred due to the the need for instruction in a one-on-one format. This position requires a commitment for one academic year and ideally will continue for several years to follow.

The ideal candidate will have experience in education, experience working with students with dyslexia and dysgraphia, or experience teaching a specific subject area while also possessing a passion for helping others succeed.

**Duties:**

- Conduct one-on-one instruction to 4 students twice a week for 4 hour windows of time

- Develop or implement personalized learning plans based on student's needs

- Administer and grade student work

- Keep detailed notes, records of student work, and student portfolios in an organized format.

- Provide feedback to students and parents on progress (weekly written feedback and quarter progress reports)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Responsible, on-time, prepared

- Creative, engaging and passionate about teaching

- Take initiative with instruction, scheduling, management of materials etc.

- Background in teaching, tutoring, or other educational settings
