Homeschool Teacher/Tutor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Homeschool Teacher/Tutor to provide personalized educational support for students in a home-based setting. The ideal candidate will develop engaging curricula, utilize learning technology, and foster a positive learning environment tailored to each student's needs. Responsibilities

• Design and implement customized lesson plans aligned with educational standards and student needs.
• Utilize learning technology and digital resources to enhance instruction and engagement
• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to reinforce concepts and improve student understanding.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student performance and development
• Incorporate childcare principles to ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere for young learners
• Maintain organized records of lessons, assessments, and student achievements

Qualifications

• Proven experience with children, including classroom management and lesson planning skills
• Background in early childhood education, preschool experience, or special education preferred
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and adult education principles as applicable
• Familiarity with learning technology tools and online teaching platforms
• Excellent communication skills to engage students and collaborate with parents or guardians
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs is highly desirable
