Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service to enhance their lounge experience
• Take and serve beverage orders efficiently, including specialty drinks and non-alcoholic options
• Prepare and maintain hookah setups according to safety standards and guest preferences
• Educate guests on different hookah flavors and smoking etiquette to ensure an enjoyable experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge area, including tables, seating, and hookah stations
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible smoking practices and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Handle POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and issuing receipts
• Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication skills
• Assist with event setup or special promotions to boost guest engagement and satisfaction

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse guests
• Experience working in restaurants or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services, serving techniques, and responsible alcohol/smoking practices
• Previous hotel or restaurant experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
