Title: Housekeeper
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor
Department: Lodging
Summary of Position:
Provide excellent customer service to guest rooms and public areas in accordance with Quality Standards
Responsibilities:
  • Follows detailed duties worksheet assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Clean check-outs and stay-overs, including; changing sheets and towels, emptying trash, dusting, scrubbing, vacuuming and waxing according to procedures
  • Report damaged or missing items to the Housekeeping Supervisor, turn in all lost and found items to Management
  • Notify Management and Maintenance of any repairs
  • Stock personal cart daily with cleaning supplies, guest supplies and linens, alert supervisor if supplies run low
  • Unload cart of dirty linens and trash at end of shift
  • Assist in the unloading of linens (delivered by truck) bi-weekly
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning projects as assigned
  • Understand Company’s ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas.
  • Other duties per Duties Checklist and as assigned
Position Requirements:
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. with frequent bending, twisting and squatting required.
Education and Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience: One (1) year of housekeeping experience preferred
Resort/National Park experience preferred
