Job Summary:

We are seeking caring and reliable Hospice Aides to provide personal care and support services to patients in their homes. This position involves working with patients -supporting individuals and families during the end-of-life journey (Hospice).

Key Responsibilities:

Hospice Aide Duties:

• Offer physical and emotional support to terminally ill patients and their families
• Provide comfort care, personal hygiene, and support with positioning and mobility
• Maintain a clean, safe environment aligned with hospice philosophy
• Personal care expertise, bedside manners, stamina, being able to cope with distressing situation, emotional stability as well as skilled at record keeping.

Job Qualification

Education/Licensure

Graduate of an accredited CNA training program and licensed in the state of Texas as CNA

CPR certification

Experience

• Minimum two years' experience as CNA obtained with in the last 36 months
• 1+ years' experience in Hospice setting
• Must be willing and available take weekend shifts in needed
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrates proven decision-making skills.
• Knowledge or awareness about WellSky EMR system

Transportation

Current State Driver's License. Reliable personal transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.

Environmental and Working Conditions

Works in patient home and skilled nursing facilities in various conditions; ability to work flexible schedule; ability to travel

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
