As a Home Health Aide (HHA) at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care you will be called to care when you’re needed most. As a member of our inpatient hospice team, you’ll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort, dignity, and compassionate care to our patients and their families.

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will:
- Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, peri-care, hygiene, shampooing, oral care, nail care, shaving, and assistance with dressing.
- Obtain and accurately record vital signs as directed by the patient’s plan of care.
- Observe, document, and promptly report any changes in patient condition to the clinical team.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
- Deliver attentive, comfort-focused care during overnight 12-hour shifts, ensuring patient safety, dignity, and well-being.
To qualify for a Home Health Aide (HHA) with us:
- Licensure: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
- Ability to manage time and schedules efficiently in an inpatient care setting.
- Strong communication and observational skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and support individualized patient needs.
