Hospice Aide (The Gibson Family Center)

3 - 12 HOUR SHIFTS | 7PM - 7AM

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care you will be called to care when you’re needed most. As a member of our inpatient hospice team, you’ll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort, dignity, and compassionate care to our patients and their families.

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will:

• Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, peri-care, hygiene, shampooing, oral care, nail care, shaving, and assistance with dressing.
• Obtain and accurately record vital signs as directed by the patient’s plan of care.
• Observe, document, and promptly report any changes in patient condition to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
• Deliver attentive, comfort-focused care during overnight 12-hour shifts, ensuring patient safety, dignity, and well-being.

To qualify for a Home Health Aide (HHA) with us:

• Licensure: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• Ability to manage time and schedules efficiently in an inpatient care setting.
• Strong communication and observational skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and support individualized patient needs.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
