Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our core interdisciplinary team. As a valued member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing holistic, patient-centered care during life’s most meaningful moments. Your clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and deep compassion will ensure the highest quality of life for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

As an RN at Sequoia Hospice Care, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans that honor patients' goals and wishes.
• Delivering skilled nursing care, including pain and symptom management, while providing emotional support to patients and their families.
• Educating patients and families about the hospice journey and empowering them to make informed decisions.
• Working closely with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other team members to address holistic patient needs.
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records while maintaining continuity of care.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and contributing valuable insights to enhance care delivery.

Requirements

• A current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Utah State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of experience in hospice and/or palliative care.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to patients’ homes in the valley

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
