Hospice CNA

Our organization is looking for a Certified Nursing Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in home health, hospice & palliative care.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The hospice aide works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various tasks as assigned in accordance with the patient’s plan of care to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort. The hospice aide is responsible for reporting and documenting observations and care performed.

Responsibilities:

The Certified Nursing assistant will be responsible for providing home nursing care for terminally ill patients. They will Develop and implement personalized patient care plans. Sort and allocate patient care problems. They will be responsible for Ordering supplies for patient care at home and maintain details.

Role Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A valid CNA license in the state of Georgia.
• CPR

About the Role:

• Must meet federal Home Health Aide training and

competency requirements.

• Ability to work independently, make accurate, and at times, quick judgments.
• Ability to respond appropriately to crisis outside of a hospital setting.
• Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural and religious modes.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
