Hospice Human Resources Office Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Office Manager to oversee all aspects of our HR and hospice office functions. MUST HAVE HR AND HOSPICE OFFICE EXPERIENCE. LVN preferred. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The candidate will also be responsible for daily office duties such as filing.. faxing, and answering phones. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Duties

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support organizational goals.
  • Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Oversee payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee compensation.
  • Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to management and staff.
  • Organize training programs and professional development initiatives for employees.
  • Plan and coordinate company events to enhance employee engagement and morale.
  • Maintain employee records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure effective communication within the organization regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with hospice team to improve patient outcomes.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with employees and external partners.
  • Proficient in office management practices, including administrative tasks related to HR functions.
  • Knowledgeable in human resources best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in event planning to facilitate company-wide initiatives and gatherings.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems to ensure accurate compensation processing.
  • Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in office software applications.
  • Experience with phone systems for effective communication within the office environment.
  • Background in front desk operations or medical office management in a hospice is required.
