About Concordia Hospice of Washington
The roots of our organization can be traced back to Rev. Dr. J. E. Victor Carlson, who helped create Hospice Care Inc. in Greene County in the late 1970s to serve families dealing with end-of-life illnesses. In 1996, the program was combined with The Washington Hospital, opening opportunities for inpatient care and other new services. On July 1, 2016, Concordia Community Support Services and Washington Health System (previously The Washington Hospital) partnered to form the organization we are today.
OUR Mission:- To serve our aging community with a continuum of high-quality caregiving options, provided in a Christian environment, and to serve those with limited funds to the best of our ability.
