Hospice & Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Hiring is dependent on passing drug, background, MVR screen and getting a physical. Medical Marijuana and CBD gummies will exclude you from being eligible for this job and a drug screen will be conducted annually.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• MUST LIVE IN or near Panama City.
• Must have a clean background and MVR. A report will be run.

JOB DUTIES:

• Safely transfer hospice patients to a Broda Traversa Chair.
• Safely assist and transport wheelchair bound and ambulatory clients.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Push up to 450#, including the wheelchair.
• Stoop, bend, kneel, and stretch in confided spaces.
• Sit and stand for extended periods of time.

Training will be provided.

OTHER:

• Part-time classification. Estimate hours will be 24-40 hours per week.
• 12 hours of training time is paid once driver reports to first trip.
