Hospice Sales Counselor

Zusman Hospice is seeking a passionate, driven Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for building relationships with referral sources, promoting our hospice services, and increasing census through strategic outreach and education. Ideal candidates will have healthcare sales experience, a deep understanding of hospice care, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in patients’ lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop relationships with potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and home health agencies
  • Educate healthcare professionals and the community about the benefits and eligibility for hospice services
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan to achieve or exceed referral and admission goals
  • Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, referral outcomes, and market intelligence using CRM tools
  • Collaborate with the clinical and admissions teams to ensure smooth transitions for patients
  • Represent Zusman Hospice at community events, health fairs, and professional meetings
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to leadership regarding sales activity and market trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience in hospice, home health, or a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of Medicare hospice benefit and general healthcare landscape
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
