Hospice Sales Representative

Join our dynamic team as a Hospice Sales Representative, where your passion for compassionate care and sales excellence will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our hospice services by building strong relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and potential referral sources. Your energetic approach and strategic mindset will help ensure that patients receive the comfort and support they deserve, while also fostering growth for our organization. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine medical sales expertise with heartfelt service delivery in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Position is base salary with large bonus and commission schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify and engage new referral sources within healthcare facilities, senior communities, and community organizations.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare professionals, illustrating the benefits of hospice services and related offerings.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts through proactive communication, personalized service, and regular follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal service delivery.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Manage all aspects of outside sales activities, including scheduling visits, preparing proposals, and closing agreements effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving concerns professionally, and ensuring client satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to articulate value propositions clearly.
  • Proven experience in B2B (business-to-business) sales, particularly in medical or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Skilled in conducting product demos and technical sales presentations tailored to healthcare professionals’ needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to influence decision-makers and drive results independently.
  • Expertise in account management strategies to nurture ongoing relationships with referral sources.
  • Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple accounts, scheduling visits, and maintaining detailed records.
  • Proficiency in analysis skills to interpret market data and adapt sales approaches accordingly.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, PowerPoint for creating presentations and reports.
  • Knowledge of medical sales practices, including familiarity with hospice care regulations and terminology.
