ITEES Eye Hospital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hospital Administration Trainee to support day-to-day administrative and operational activities. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in healthcare administration and gain hands-on exposure to hospital operations, patient services, and data-driven decision-making in a specialized ophthalmology setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily hospital administrative and operational activities
- Support front office operations including patient registration, billing coordination, and appointment management
- Coordinate with clinical teams (Doctors, Optometry, Nursing, OT, and Diagnostics) to ensure smooth workflow
- Assist in inventory tracking for pharmacy, opticals, consumables, and surgical items
- Support insurance and TPA documentation, empanelment processes, and claim follow-ups
- Help in maintaining hospital records, MIS reports, and basic data analysis
- Assist in monitoring patient flow, OPD statistics, surgery schedules, and departmental performance
- Support marketing and outreach activities as required (camps, promotions, patient engagement)
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, processes, and quality standards
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Freshers are welcome; prior hospital or healthcare exposure is an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of hospital workflows and healthcare terminology preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic computer applications
- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced hospital environment
