Duties

• Collect soiled linens from patient rooms, departments, and laundry carts with care and efficiency
• Operate laundry equipment including washing machines, dryers, and dry cleaning machines to process linens according to safety standards
• Sort, fold, and prepare clean linens for distribution throughout the hospital
• Maintain cleanliness of linen storage areas and ensure proper organization of supplies
• Follow infection control protocols during linen handling and laundering processes
• Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages or damages
• Support the cleaning team by maintaining a hygienic environment in linen storage and processing areas

Experience

• Prior experience in laundry operations or cleaning services is preferred
• Knowledge of laundry procedures, including washing, drying, and dry cleaning techniques
• Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus, demonstrating strong customer service skills
• Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently
• Attention to detail in sorting, folding, and maintaining linen quality standards
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks with precision

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
