Hospital Security Guard

FIDELITY SECURITY SERVICES is a full-service security company providing professional services for a variety of industries. We are looking for security guards to provide assistance in the following areas: Patrol, monitoring, and incident management in a hospital setting. Officer will be stationed at the front desk and provide concierge services after hours as well as patrolling & securing the premises. The site is a small 40 bed free-standing hospital.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, responsible, and have excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Florida Class D Security License
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test, must take TB test
• Must be able to provide an appropriate level of visible protection according to state regulations
• Must be available to work within the below shifts.
• 2 positions available:
• FT: 3pm-11p: Thurs-Mon (40 hours)
• FT: Tues & Weds 3p-11p & Fri & Sat 11p-7a (32 hours)
• Must have a valid driver's license

Duties: (Duties are not limited to the below)

• Ensure a safe and secure environment
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Preserve order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises
• Respond quickly to critical situations
• Monitor and patrol premises on foot or as directed
• Direct clientele to the intended destination
• Assess and act upon threats or deviant behavior accordingly
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to communicate and work well with staff and team members
• Prepare incident logs and daily reports as required
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
