Hospitalist Physician

Coverage Needed

• December 22, 2025 -January 2, 2026
• Schedule: Days 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Clinical Details

• EMR: Epic
• 40 FTE group with 18 Hospitalists on shift during the day
• Average 15-20 encounters per shift, target of 17
• No procedures required
• Expected to respond to Code Blue on assigned patients
• Late backup assignment once every 14 shifts, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
• Support Staff: Hospitalist RN Hub open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., staffed by 2 RNs

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• South Carolina Medical License
• DEA that can be permanently registered in South Carolina
• Clean malpractice and background record
• Ability to cover full stretch of dates
