Locum Hospitalist - McLeod Cheraw - Cheraw, South Carolina

MUST be Board Certified in either Family or Internal Medicine
MUST have SC License, CSR and DEA that can be registered SC

Assignment Details:

• 7p-7a in house Hospitalist coverage
• Candidate will be on call 12/24 and 12/26 from 7p-7a
• Call is not in house
• On call Hospitalist is rarely called back into the hospital, but is normally called at least 6-8 times a night. Again, most calls can be handled over the phone and Physician rarely have to go back into the hospital.
• Procedures like central lines and stress tests are helpful but not required.
• Average daily acute census is 26. Each Hospitalist is usually responsible for between 15-18 patients/day
• Open ICU with 5 ICU beds
