This position will be employed by Adfinitas Health and work at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

  • Our hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge.
  • Flexible block schedule
  • Average Daily Census: 15-17
  • Daily Coverage: Team of 2 providers
  • Night Coverage: 1 provider
  • ICU: Open
  • Procedures/Vents: None
  • Subspecialty support: Excellent
  • Must be BE/BC in Internal Medicine. Must also carry an active Pennsylvania state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration, BLS and ACLS

Minimum Requirements
  • Expertise in Hospital Medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and procedures
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and developing treatment plans
  • Experience with rehabilitation services and post-surgical care coordination
  • Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, with valid Pennsylvania medical license
  • Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Experience in a hospital or community healthcare setting is advantageous
