HOSPITALIST PHYSICIAN – Aberdeen and Bel Air, MD:
About the Role:

• Full-service hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen
• Part of the University of Maryland Medical System
• University hospital with excellent specialty support
• Average 15 patients/day
• Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes
• Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs
• EMR: EPIC
• Beds 257
• Trauma Level – Level II
• Board certified/eligible in internal or family medicine
• Responsibilities include rounds, admissions, discharges, and daily multidisciplinary rounds, geographic rounds, participant in rapid response and code team. Swing shift rotation covers admissions and new consults during the day.:
