Hospitalist Physician Assistants work 12-hour shifts in a dynamic hospital setting, providing essential care for patients across 36 ED beds and 12 ICU beds. Handling cross coverage and occasional admissions—primarily during night shifts—PAs impact patient throughput and quality of care, all without procedural requirements.
