Looking for a Physician to join our team as Hospitalist.
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Physician/Hospitalist to join our medical team to cover our hospital patients. As Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients 18 years old or older. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of individuals in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments of patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient response
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Stay current with advancements in medical research and treatment options
Skills:
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system for accurate diagnosis coding
- Strong data collection and analysis skills to inform treatment decisions
- Ability to triage patients based on the severity of condition or injury
- Knowledge of medical coding practices for accurate billing and reimbursement
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Valid Florida state medical license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
