Hospitality Design Specifier

About Us:
We are a boutique Orange County studio specializing in hospitality, restaurant, and gaming interiors. Our small, collaborative team creates environments where atmosphere and precision go hand in hand — and we're looking for someone who takes pride in both.

The Role:
We need a confident, self-directed Specifier who can own the spec process with minimal oversight. You'll work alongside our designers and project managers in-person, communicate proactively, and contribute to a team culture where everyone's work matters. This is not a remote position; candidates must work on-site in our Orange County office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare specifications for materials, finishes, FF&E, lighting, and equipment.
• Research and source products that meet design intent, quality standards, and budget.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of specifications, submittals, and product selections.
• Review submittals and samples; flag issues and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with the design team to integrate specs into construction documents.

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of experience in interior design specification writing; hospitality or gaming experience a strong plus.
• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — you keep people informed without being asked.
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
• A genuine team player who brings a positive attitude and self-starter energy.
