Job Overview

Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Toast POS
• Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and friendly assistance
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold a welcoming environment
• Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their overall experience
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Knowledge of Toast POS is advantageous
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in guest services
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to foster positive interactions
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic during busy service hours
• Familiarity with serving, food service protocols, and customer service standards is beneficial
