HOST

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of guests, maintain seating arrangements, and assist in creating a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently.
• Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times accurately.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Handle guest relations with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

Skills

• Strong guest services orientation with a passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems for managing reservations and orders is a plus.
• Ability to maintain positive guest relations in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally.
• Previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings is preferred but not required.
• A helpful attitude and willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
