Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with warmth, managing orders, and ensuring smooth flow within the restaurant or hospitality environment. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an outstanding guest experience, fostering a lively and hospitable atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and energetic demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure quick and accurate orders for dine in/take out.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information about wait times and menu items
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns or special requests efficiently and positively.
• Support overall restaurant operations by communicating effectively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and clearly.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS
• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services environments is advantageous.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices to enhance guest experiences.
