The VIG Filllmore is seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure a smooth dining experience. As the first point of contact for our patrons, you will play a vital role in representing our restaurant’s hospitality standards and ensuring guest satisfaction from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area
• Answer guest inquiries and provide information about the menu and restaurant policies
• Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and service
• Handle guest concerns or special requests with courtesy and professionalism
• Monitor wait times and communicate effectively with guests
• Assist in maintaining a positive and welcoming environment

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Basic computer skills for reservation management and communication
