Host

We have an exciting opportunity for you at Alisson's Restaurant in Kennebunkport! As a part-time or full-time Host, you'll be the friendly face greeting our wonderful guests and setting the tone for their dining experience. We are looking for year-round or seasonal employees able to start now or before May 15.

We offer a competitive starting pay of $19 per hour. You will have benefits such as Paid Time Off and Employee Meals.

We are a local family owned independent restaurant in the center of Kennebunkport, Maine, with a casual atmosphere. We are open every day, year-round.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A HOST

As a Host at Alisson's, you can expect to be the first point of contact for our guests, warmly welcoming them with a smile. You'll assist in seating guests, managing the wait list, and completing orders for take-out. With a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays, you'll be at the heart of the action during our busiest times, ensuring all guests feel valued and cared for. However, our schedule is flexible and we happily work around school and family commitments.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A HOST

To excel as a Host at Alisson's, some experience in the hospitality industry would be beneficial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as you'll be interacting with guests daily. A friendly and welcoming demeanor, along with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, will help you thrive in this role. While previous experience is helpful, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are equally important for success in this position.
