The Host at Loch Lloyd Country Club is responsible for providing members and guests with a consistently exceptional experience through professional service, product knowledge, and attentive hospitality. Hosts are expected to uphold the club’s standards in appearance, attendance, service execution, and position responsibilities.

Essential Functions
- Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage Team to ensure member and associate satisfaction.
- Greet all embers in a warm, sincere and helpful manner.
- Interact with Members and staff in a cordial, efficient and professional manner.
- Learn, recognize, and accurately identify members, their member numbers, and guests.
- Provide prompt, professional, and attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all front-of-house and applicable back-of-house areas.
- Clear and set tables
- Prepare to go orders
- Complete all opening, closing, and transition checklists on time.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times.
- Adhere to all appearance standards, including posture and presentation.
- Follow proper communication channels and adhere to schedule.
- Arrive on time and fully prepared for all scheduled shifts.
- Required to demonstrate complete knowledge of offerings.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail offerings.
- Familiarity with daily and weekly specials and all featured items.
- Demonstrate and follow service guidelines and upselling techniques to maximize revenue and experience.
- Communicate with service staff throughout the shift to understand and anticipate room seating, timing, availability, requests and alike.
- Understands and anticipates demand using seasonality, weather, demand, events, and understands golf tee sheet timing.
- Consistently checks scheduling platforms and communicates on proper channels as directed by management.
- Always Represents Loch Lloyd Country Club with professionalism and member confidentiality.
- Operates efficiently through our dining reservation system and keeps accurate details.
- Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices.

Skills & Experience
- Prior hospitality or service experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of food and beverage service
- Basic mathematical and cash-handling skills
- Memorization of menu items and table numbers.
