Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your hospitality skills will shine as you manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements in our busy restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the seating chart and efficiently assign tables to guests based on availability.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Utilize TouchBistro POS system for managing reservations and guest flow effectively.
- Communicate any special requests or needs from guests to the appropriate staff members.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette to engage effectively with guests.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for providing outstanding guest services and enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
