We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for welcoming them warmly, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide a warm welcome to create a positive first impression.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
- Assist guests with reservations and accommodate walk-ins as needed.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Support the restaurant team in various tasks as needed to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on helping others and enhancing guest relations.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Excellent customer service abilities to create memorable dining experiences.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding hospitality.
