Position Title: Host - Family Entertainment Center

Location: Conway AR

Job Overview:

As a Host at our family entertainment center, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle guest inquiries will contribute to a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for our visitors. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.

Responsibilities:

1. Guest Reception and Greeting:

- Greet guests as they arrive at the center with a warm and friendly welcome.

- Create a positive first impression and set the tone for their visit.

2. Reservation and Seating:

- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently.

- Escort guests to their designated areas or tables and provide menus.

3. Guest Inquiries:

- Answer guest inquiries about the center's attractions, services, and activities.

- Provide accurate information and assist with recommendations as needed.

4. Customer Service Excellence:

- Ensure that guests feel valued and attended to throughout their visit.

- Address any concerns or issues in a courteous and efficient manner.

5. Queue Management:

- Maintain organized queues for various attractions and activities.

- Manage guest flow to ensure efficient and enjoyable experiences.

6. Upselling and Promotions:

- Promote special offers, events, and packages to enhance the guest experience.

- Encourage additional purchases and upgrades as appropriate.

7. Crowd Control:

- Monitor guest traffic and crowd density to ensure a comfortable and safe environment.

- Implement crowd control measures during peak times.

8. Resolving Guest Concerns:

- Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.

- Collaborate with other staff members to resolve challenges.

9. Cash Handling and Point of Sale (POS):

- Process transactions accurately using the POS system.

- Handle cash and electronic payments while maintaining accuracy and accountability.

10. Event Assistance:

- Assist in event coordination, setup, and support during special events and parties.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a host, hostess, or in a customer-facing role, preferably in a restaurant, hospitality, or entertainment setting.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests of all ages.

- Friendly and outgoing personality with a customer-focused approach.

- Ability to manage guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and efficiency.

- Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements.

- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems for transaction processing.

- Problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations and guest concerns.

- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the family entertainment center.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
