As the first point of contact for our guests, our Hostesses play a vital role in setting the tone for the entire evening. We are seeking a professional, poised, and welcoming individual who understands that Greek hospitality—Philoxenia—begins the moment someone walks through our doors.

The Role

As a Hostess at Milos Taverna, you are the conductor of the dining room. You will be responsible for managing the flow of service with precision, warmth, and confidence.

What you’ll do:

• Greet every guest with genuine warmth and professional poise.
• Manage reservations and seating charts to maximize dining room flow and guest comfort.
• Coordinate closely with servers and management to ensure a seamless transition from the entrance to the table.
• Maintain the elegance of the entryway and host station.
• Provide knowledgeable answers regarding our Greek wine list, menu, and restaurant concept.
• Anticipate guest needs and manage wait times with transparency and grace.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous hosting experience in an upscale or fine-dining setting is preferred.
• A calm, confident presence and the ability to multitask in a high-energy environment.
• Exceptional communication skills and a polished, professional appearance.
• Experience with reservation software (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is a plus.
• A team-oriented mindset and a passion for high-level hospitality.
