Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating flow. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an outstanding dining experience, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly first impression.
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating arrangements.
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and assisting with reservations or questions.
• Coordinate seating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
• Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously, escalating issues when necessary to ensure resolution.
• Support guest relations by providing information about menu items, restaurant policies, and upcoming events.

Experience

• Previous host or hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong food service background with knowledge of restaurant operations enhances guest interactions.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Experience in hotel or guest services roles can be beneficial for creating a hospitable atmosphere.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
