Overview
Join our Vagabond Crew as a Host, where your energy and welcoming nature set the tone for an each guest experience. As the first point of contact, you will help us create a warm, friendly environment. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help streamline seating, manage takeout orders, and ensure smooth operations across the front-of-house.

Duties

• Greet guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude, making them feel instantly welcomed
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking orders as needed
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold high standards of hospitality
• Assist guests with special requests or accommodations, ensuring their needs are met promptly
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns courteously and effectively

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant environments
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests, team members, and management
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including serving, or guest services experience preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits

Hours

• This is an evening position, Tuesday - Saturday, 4:30 pm - 10:30 pm
• Friday and Saturday availablity is required

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
