Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests from the moment they arrive. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating flow. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience, making guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a friendly and professional demeanor, establishing a positive first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and availability
• Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests, ensuring personalized service
• Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate seamless guest flow and timely service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times

Experience

• Previous host or hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
• Strong background in food service and customer service roles, demonstrating excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience in hotel or guest services can be an advantage, highlighting your guest relations skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse guests and team members
