Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating flow. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a warm, hospitable environment that encourages guest satisfaction and loyalty. Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly, energetic attitude upon arrival and provide a warm welcome
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
• Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about wait times and restaurant offerings
• Assist guests with special requests, including accommodating allergies or specific seating preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to ensure a professional appearance
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service flow and timely seating

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant settings preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries gracefully
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with a positive attitude
