Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of seating and guest services. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly, energetic demeanor and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally, providing information about wait times and reservations
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure guest comfort while waiting
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests with hospitality-focused service and clear communication
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns politely and escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a welcoming, positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience in hospitality, serving, or hotel settings is a plus
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards is highly desirable

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
