Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests from the moment they arrive. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating flow. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience, making guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit. This role offers a dynamic environment where your hospitality skills can shine, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Pay rate includes a starting hourly rate PLUS tips!

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Opentable; experience with this technology is REQUIRED!
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general questions
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station area to uphold high standards of hospitality

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment required
• Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with Opentable required
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures enhances effectiveness in the role
