Duties

• Greet guests warmly with a friendly smile and positive attitude, making them feel instantly welcome
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
• Assist guests with seating, menu questions, or special requests to enhance their dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant settings
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with POS systems is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills, including guest relations and hospitality expertise
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving etiquette, and hotel guest services is a plus
• Professional phone etiquette and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests over the phone or in person

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
