Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude, making them feel welcomed and appreciated.
• Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, balancing wait times and table availability to optimize flow.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and reservations as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all materials are stocked and ready for service.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to communicate guest needs and seating preferences promptly.
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating adjustments to enhance their experience.
• Support overall restaurant operations by maintaining guest relations and ensuring smooth front-of-house flow.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for creating positive interactions.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for delivering outstanding customer service is key.
